The Sumil Shah Foundation is committed to helping children and their families create an environment that is conducive to their development through programs that foster their ethical, social and intellectual qualities. The foundation's mission is to provide the basic necessities to children through contributions and outreach that they may have been deprived of in order to reach these goals and create values such as kindness, helpfulness, personal responsibility, and respect for others.

DEDICATION
The name which this foundation bears, is dedicated in loving memory
to Sumil Shah.
Sumil touched the lives around him and gave selflessly to his friends and family. He was a friend to those both young and old and had the special gift of giving especially to those less fortunate. He loved children and was himself a child. We hope that through this organization we can continue on the spirit of giving and touch lives in the many ways that he did.
Sumil passed away August 12, 2002, two months before his 21st birthday and is survived by his parents, Dr. Ajit and Shilpa Shah and his two brothers, Sanjit and Shalin.
